## What we see in Moon Valley pools

A few things come up a lot in this part of town.

- **Older pools and equipment**: Many Moon Valley pools have been around for decades. Original plaster, older single-speed pumps and plumbing that’s been patched before are common, so we watch the equipment and tell you early when something is wearing out.
- **Trees and the preserves**: Mature trees and the open desert of Lookout Mountain and North Mountain mean leaves, palo verde blossoms in spring and dust after every storm. Skimming and emptying baskets matter here.
- **Hard water**: Phoenix tap water leaves calcium on the tile line as it evaporates. Balanced water slows it down, and we can clean off what’s already there.

## What we do in Moon Valley

Weekly service is most of what we do here, along with the jobs that come with older pools.

- [**Weekly pool service**Same day each week: brush, skim, baskets, vacuum as needed, tested and balanced water, and a service report.](https://methodpoolco.com/services/#weekly)
- [**Green pool recovery**Algae blooms and pools that sat for months, brought back to clear water, then onto weekly service if you want it.](https://methodpoolco.com/services/#green)
- [**Filter cleaning**Cartridge cleans and DE grid tear-downs, so the pump moves water the way it should after a dusty season.](https://methodpoolco.com/services/#filter)
- [**Tile and calcium cleaning**The white scale Phoenix water leaves on the waterline, taken off the tile without scratching it or the grout.](https://methodpoolco.com/services/#tile)
- [**Equipment repair**Pumps, motors, filters, valves, lights and leaks: diagnosed, quoted in writing, then fixed.](https://methodpoolco.com/services/#repair)
- [**Equipment upgrades**Variable-speed pumps, salt systems and LED lights that cost less to run through a Phoenix summer.](https://methodpoolco.com/services/#upgrades)

## Questions from Moon Valley homeowners

**Are you actually based in Moon Valley?**

Yes. Most of our routes start here, which keeps the drive short and your service day steady.

**Can you take over from my current pool company?**

Yes. We’ll come look at the pool first, then set you up on a regular service day.

**My pool is old. Is it worth fixing up?**

We’ll look at the plaster and the equipment and tell you what needs doing now, what can wait, and what it costs, in writing.
