## How a visit works

We do the same eight things in the same order every time, and write it all down. That way nothing gets skipped, even on a 115° day in July.

1. **Check the equipment**
2. **Skim the surface**
3. **Empty the skimmer basket**
4. **Brush walls, steps and tile**
5. **Vacuum the floor**
6. **Empty the pump basket**
7. **Test and balance the water**
8. **Close up and report**
